Dirk Beamer recently lead a training workshop for the employees of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR). Titled Sexual Harassment Awareness in the #MeToo Moment, the workshop sought to educate participants on work place dos and don’ts, while also informing them of their opportunity -- and at times their duty -- to report sexual harassment in the workplace.

“I am greatly honored to have this opportunity to work with the team members at MDCR,” said Beamer. “Their staff includes, quite literally, the experts in this area of the law, so it was a bit humbling to share my small slice of expertise and real-world experience.”

More than one hundred employees from MDCR’s multiple agencies gathered from across the state for a series of trainings and workshops at the Sheraton in Novi, Michigan.
