Care for One Another

CARES of Farmington Hills began because three community leaders couldn’t bear to let the local food pantry close, cutting off food security for those in need. In a few short years, CARES has grown into a true “Campus of Hope.” The organization helps to provide food for Farmington area individuals through its food pantry and the new Busch’s CARES Market. It also offers access to community and county support services and other programs to support wellness.

At Wright Beamer, we understand the value of the community around us. We strive to find purposeful ways to support our neighbors, both as a company and as individuals. And the holiday season is most notably about spreading goodwill to others, especially those who need it most. Last week, members of our team pitched in for a day at the CARES market. The day was spent helping to stock the market shelves and assisting shoppers with checkout. It was a meaningful way to give back. And, as is usually true, we received more than we gave.

There are endless opportunities to give back during this time of year, and you do not need to look any further than your own community. If you are able to help others during this holiday season, consider reaching out to any number of the amazing local charitable organizations in our neighborhood.
