Centennial Gala Celebration

The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM) was founded by five women attorneys in 1919 with the goal of advancing "the interest of women members of the legal profession and to promote a fraternal spirit among lawyers.” While the association initially concentrated its efforts on backing women lawyers as they sought election to public and professional positions, today WLAM focuses on leadership training and the development of resources for its regional chapters.
Hundreds of WLAM supporters, including our own Julie Cotant, came together last month at Detroit's Colony Club to commemorate its 100 years of accomplishments. The association intends to hold centennial celebrations throughout the year. Wright Beamer is pleased to lend its support for the objectives of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan!
