Scholarship Dinner for The Roeper School

Mariann Hoag became the administrative assistant to George Roeper in 1949 and spent 61 years tending to The Roeper School and its community with her leadership and hard work. When she passed, the school began The Mariann Hoag Scholarship Dinner. This annual event helps to raise funds for Roeper's need-based financial aid program, which was lovingly renamed The Mariann Hoag Financial Aid Grant Award Program in her honor.

On April 21st, attendees of the scholarship dinner will enjoy an alumni speaker and silent auction at The Detroit Zoo Butterfly House before taking in a meal at one of 11 host homes set up to entertain guests.

Julie Cotant has enjoyed a long-lasting relationship with The Roeper School and Wright Beamer is looking forward to lending a helping hand in support of this important cause.
