Set the Scene

One of the area’s most iconic buildings sits at the heart of Farmington Hills. Once a working dairy farm, The Barn is now home to a state-of-the-art theater. And for over 65 years, the volunteers of the Farmington Players have been bringing to the stage some of the best comedies, dramas, and mysteries all in the name of entertainment.

Next month, the Farmington Players will close out the season with one final production. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is a murderous musical comedy guaranteed to entertain and delight audiences. The show kicks off April 28 and runs for a few weeks. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Farmington Players website.

If you are not able to make it for a show, be sure to check out the Farmington Players Audio Theater. The podcast-like audio theater consists of “short radio plays featuring original scripts – many from local Michigan playwrights and [the theater's] Barnscribes writing team.” Episodes are available through the theater’s website, on YouTube, and other streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

At Wright Beamer, we value the arts in our neighborhood. We hope you can make time for a show and support the community theater. You just might find us in the playbill!
