At Wright Beamer, we understand the importance of sharing what we know with our clients and the community. Next month, there will be an opportunity for two of our attorneys to do just that.
The Farmington Community Library is partnering with the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce to host a seven-part Small Business Series lunch and learn with local business leaders. Each session will feature topics for building and growing small businesses.
Lee Flaherty starts things off with a discussion about starting a business, including choosing an entity type, and formation and maintenance requirements. The following week, Evan Chall follows with a review of employee handbooks and when and how to use non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements. Presentations for the last few weeks will cover opportunities available for businesses in Farmington and Farmington Hills, expanding your business, and the value of networking and marketing.
These free sessions will take place every Tuesday starting February 20, with lunch sponsored by the Farmington Friends of the Library. Registration is required as space is limited. Visit the Farmington Community Library website to learn more and to register.
