Supporting Michigan’s Newest Lawyers

The Young Lawyers Section (“YLS”) of the State Bar of Michigan is dedicated to providing “education, information, and analysis about issues of concern” to young lawyers using meetings, seminars, public service programs, and publication of a newsletter. Established in 1940, the YLS is the oldest section of the State Bar of Michigan and continues to offer tools and opportunities for success to up-and-coming attorneys serving in the state.

In June, the YLS held its 11th Annual Summit in Boyne, Michigan. These summits serve to “develop growth, education, leadership, and outreach” through educational programs and training. This year, our own Julie Cotant presented on the topic “Apply the Science of Happiness in Your Work to Improve Performance and Satisfaction.” Wright Beamer is proud of Julie’s efforts to help support YLS and its members!
