The Heart in Art

The Heart in Art

Heart the Art began in 2020 as a way to bring together public arts installations and experiences and the Farmington community. Like most things, the event needed to find a different way last year. The Farmington Downtown Development Authority chose to give the event a new look in the form of a month-long Hot Cocoa Crawl. That new tradition is continuing again.

Each Thursday night in February, art lovers are masking up for a stroll through Farmington’s social district, The Syndicate. Visitors are able to grab a beverage and enjoy some shopping and sipping along Grand River. Proceeds from participating businesses will go to support the next public art project for Downtown Farmington. The evenings also include a photo contest and live music. Tonight’s performance can be found at the office of our friend and local financial advisor, Steve Chang. Next week, Cathi Waun of Downtown Farmington's Public Art Committee will lead a tour of the city’s art projects.

Don’t miss your chance to support an event helping to bring more beauty to our neighborhood. Details can be found on the event page. Learn more about past projects on the Downtown Farmington website.
