The Farmington Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has partnered with local crowd-funding platform, Patronicity, as it hosts events intended to support a new public art project and help guide the mission of public art in Farmington. A Valentine event takes place on February 22, as Legato Salon & Spa hosts Heart the Art in the historic Cook building. An occasion for the 21 and over crowd, Heart the Art features a cash bar, appetizers from local businesses, and live music. Attendees will also have an opportunity to vote for the next public art project to be funded with proceeds from these fundraisers.
