If you happen down Woodward Avenue in a couple of weeks, you will find the air filled with the sounds of the incomparable Antonio Vivaldi. At the end of the month, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will feature conductor Nicholas McGegan as he leads a concert honoring one of history’s most revered composers, including a concerto for mandolin and one of Vivaldi’s most recognizable pieces, Gloria.
Among the talented choir, you will find a familiar face in our own Heather Yanke Lunneberg. A vocal talent in her own right, we are so excited to see her contribute to another beautiful program. To learn more about this event and to purchase tickets, you can visit the DSO’s website.
