This year has brought a lot of uncertainty. One area taking the hardest hit is education. As we roll into July, there are still questions about what the fall will bring for all levels of schooling. Parents and educators alike are looking for solutions for the 2020-2021 school year.
One parent getting involved is our own Kathy Spray. Huron Valley Schools strongly encourages community and parent involvement, including a District Parent Council. One parent is selected from each school to represent the district on this panel. This year’s top priority of the council will be to develop a back-to-school plan for the fall. As a Milford representative, Kathy will be working on the problems the community faces with the new school year on the horizon.
We are all looking forward to getting back some sense of normalcy, but with a focus on being smart and keeping everyone safe. We are proud of Kathy for playing a role in finding a solution for the students in our community.
