At Wright Beamer, we believe that knowledge empowers our community. That’s why we’re proud to be part of the Farmington Community Library's Virtual Nonprofit Fundraising Series. The series will offer attendees helpful guidance on establishing and funding a successful nonprofit.
On Tuesday, September 24, Lee Flaherty will be presenting on the topic, “Is Starting a Nonprofit Right for You?” Lee will delve into the foundational elements required to create an organization that not only meets legal standards but also thrives in its mission. She will also explore potential alternatives for those not quite ready to establish their own nonprofit. Additionally, attendees will be introduced to a practical tool designed to help assess whether they are ready to embark on this journey.
Lee’s presentation will be part four of the library’s five-part Virtual Nonprofit Fundraising Series scheduled for September 12-26. Other presentation topics will include finding grants, creating a business plan, writing proposals, and preparing budgets.
The series is free and open to all, offering attendance via Zoom. Registration is required and can be completed on the library’s website.
