Estate planning has been a core component of our practice since the first day Bill Wright opened the doors to the firm that would eventually become Wright Beamer. It’s a natural extension of the services we provide for our business-owner clients. Our attorneys have extensive experience in preparing everything from the simplest of wills to the most complex of plans involving multiple trusts, charitable planning, estate tax avoidance and children’s special needs.
We work hard to help you implement an estate plan that will provide you with the greatest possible control over your assets during your lifetime and facilitate the transfer of those assets at the lowest possible cost following your death. In addition, we prepare documentation such as powers of attorney and patient advocate designations to protect you and your loved ones in the event of misfortune.
Our estate planning attorneys spend dozens of hours each year in continuing education and frequently lecture on the subjects of estate planning and asset protection. Lee Flaherty has received and annually renews a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She has been selected for the dbusiness Top Lawyers list in the area of estate planning.
