Kathryn Spray maintains a specialized practice in the field of corporate law, with emphasis on contractual relationships, corporate solutions, employment law, and trademarking. She has collaborated in a wide variety of business ventures ranging from multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions to the incorporation and administration of numerous small businesses. Kathryn also practices in the field of commercial real estate law, has passed the Michigan Real Estate Licensing examination, and is a LEED accredited professional with the United States Green Building Council. She has represented clients in local, state, and federal courts, including the Federal Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit located in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, Kathryn’s personal experience in and around several family-owned small businesses has given her an appreciation for the practical difficulties that today’s business owners face in balancing their legal needs with practical business solutions.
A two-time American Jurisprudence Award winner, Kathryn is a cum laude graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Literature, Science & Arts College. Kathryn has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 1994, has been an Oakland County resident since 1971, and is an active member of several local charitable boards, associations, and organizations.
Kathryn and her husband, Mike, have three teenage children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the great outdoors with her two golden retrievers and looking for a few spare moments to read a good book.
