Duck Race

Wright Beamer is proud to sponsor one of the favorite local annual traditions: the CARES Duck Race!

On Wednesday, August 6, at Shiawassee Park in Farmington, it will be an afternoon of music, games, food, and thousands of rubber ducks racing down the Rouge River — all in support of families in need.

This year’s event promises something for everyone. The main duck race will send thousands of rubber ducks speeding through the river, while sponsors get in on the fun with a special Decoy Duck Race of their own. As the ducks race to the finish, families can enjoy live music from the Killer Flamingos and DJ Rock Out Entertainment and grab a bite from local favorites like Busch’s, Farmhouse Coffee, and Bulldog Cheesesteaks. There will also be a wide range of activities, from bounce houses and obstacle courses to face painting, a petting zoo, and even an escape room. Kids (and curious adults) will also love the Nutty Scientists’ LOONEY GAS Show and interactive STEM stations.

Every adoption helps CARES of Farmington Hills provide food and resources to local families. And each duck offers a shot at winning a year’s worth of groceries from Busch’s Fresh Food Market!
