Summer in Farmington wouldn’t be complete without the Founders Festival. And this year marks the 61st celebration of the event we all know and love! The festival is taking over Downtown Farmington from July 17–19, and there’s a little something for everyone.
Things kick off tonight with a soft open when the beer tent and food court open at 5 p.m. It's the perfect way to ease into the weekend with good food and a cold drink in hand.
On Friday at 10 a.m., the full lineup of fun begins! The Crafters Market will take over parts of Grand River and Farmington Road with more than 100 vendors selling everything from handmade jewelry and pottery to soaps, candles, garden art, and more. Farmington Fido Festival is back at Riley Park for all the dog lovers, including dock jumping, frisbee shows, pet contests, and pup-friendly vendors. Touch A Truck, a kids’ foam party, and a mobile gaming trailer will help keep the younger crowd entertained. And of course, the beer tent (open until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday) will feature live music and lots of familiar faces.
The best part? It’s all free to attend.
At Wright Beamer, we enjoy seeing our community come alive with tradition, music, and laughter. Whether you're strolling through the craft booths, catching a show, or bringing your pup to Fido Fest, we hope you make the most of this summer tradition.
