There’s something about early autumn in Farmington that feels a little magical. The air cools, the days get shorter, and just as the season begins to shift, the Harvest Moon rises over downtown. Each year, that moment is celebrated with one of the community’s favorite traditions: the Harvest Moon Celebration.
From September 18 through 20, Riley Park will be filled with the sights and sounds of the season. Guests can enjoy Michigan-made craft beer, wine, and cider, sample food from local restaurants, and spend the evening listening to live music. Each night brings a different band and a different energy — from blues and soul to big-band favorites — creating the perfect backdrop for welcoming fall.
Saturday morning adds another layer of fun with the Market of the Harvest Moon, where families can find our friends at the Farmington Farmers Market with their fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade items before the evening festivities begin again.
What makes this event so special isn’t just the music or the food. It’s the way it brings neighbors together. Volunteers, local businesses, and residents all play a part in turning downtown into a place where the season truly comes alive.
At Wright Beamer, we’re proud to be part of a community that celebrates together in moments like these. If you’re looking for a way to welcome fall, there’s no better place to be than under the glow of the Harvest Moon in Farmington.
