Honored to Return

On May 1, 2026, Evan Chall served as the alumni speaker at Eastern Michigan University’s Winter 2026 Honors College graduation ceremony. In his remarks, Evan reflected on the role EMU played in his academic and professional development, and he encouraged graduates to stay engaged with the university as they move forward in their careers.

Evan graduated from the EMU Honors College in 2005 and was a 2001 Presidential Scholar. He has remained involved with EMU over the years, including assisting with the college’s mock trial program. That ongoing connection informed his comments as he spoke about the importance of investing in professional and personal relationships and approaching learning as a lifelong pursuit.
