ART on the GRAND

This weekend, ART on the GRAND returns to Grand River Avenue, bringing more than 100 artists, live demonstrations, music, and family-friendly activities to the heart of the city. Now in its 16th year, this beloved community event transforms downtown into an open-air gallery filled with paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, sculpture, and more.

One of the event’s most inspiring attractions is Kids Art Alley, where students in grades 5 through 12 showcase and sell their own artwork. It's a unique opportunity for young artists to gain real-world experience while sharing their creativity with the community.

Beyond the art, visitors can enjoy the Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market, live entertainment, hands-on activities for kids, downtown shopping and dining, and the Syndicate Social District throughout the weekend.

ART on the GRAND takes place Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Grand River Avenue between Farmington Road and Grove Street. Admission is free.

As proud members of the Farmington community, we always enjoy seeing downtown come alive for occasions like this. Whether you're searching for a new piece of art or simply looking for a fun way to spend the weekend, ART on the GRAND offers plenty to explore.
