Taking the Stage

It’s almost time for the lights to go down and the curtain to go up at the Farmington Players!

The Players’ 2026–27 season opens tomorrow night, kicking off another year of live theater at the Farmington Players Barn. This season’s lineup includes The Haunting of Hill House, Little Women and Out of Sight, Out of Murder, with productions running throughout the fall, winter and early spring.

If you’ve been to a Farmington Players show before, you know there’s more to it than what happens on stage. Every production brings together actors, directors, crew members, volunteers and plenty of people working behind the scenes to turn a script into an evening of live theater.

That’s part of what has kept the Farmington Players going for more than 70 years. The shows change, but there’s always a new story to tell and a local community ready to bring it to life.

The season opens with The Haunting of Hill House, running September 25 through October 10. Little Women follows in December, with Out of Sight, Out of Murder taking the stage in February.
