A Chance to Grow

Some of the most meaningful work happening in a community starts with a simple idea: give an organization the resources it needs to turn that idea into something real.

That’s part of what makes the Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families (FFHFYF) grant program so valuable. For more than 30 years, the foundation has supported local organizations working to improve the lives of youth and families throughout Farmington and Farmington Hills, helping fund programs ranging from early literacy and youth enrichment to food assistance, arts programming, and community initiatives.

Now, another opportunity is on the horizon. FFHFYF’s upcoming grant deadline is October 15, giving local organizations a chance to seek funding for programs that serve the community.

The foundation’s grant history offers a good sense of the variety of work these funds can support. Past grantees include the Farmington Community Library, Farmington Youth Assistance, CARES in Farmington Hills, Farmington Farmers Market, Hackbots, and the City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division, among many others.

For organizations serving local youth and families, the application deadline is a good reason to take a closer look at what’s possible. Whether funding would help launch a new program, expand an existing one or provide resources for an initiative already making a difference, FFHFYF offers an opportunity to bring more local ideas to life.

Grant information, eligibility details, and the application are available through the FFHFYF website. At Wright Beamer, we’re always glad to see organizations investing in the people and programs that help our community thrive. Supporting that work starts with making sure opportunities like this one are on the radar.
