At Wright Beamer, we believe that a vibrant arts scene is essential to a thriving community, and few things bring people together quite like live theater. That’s why we’re proud to support the Farmington Players and their upcoming One Act Festival!
Auditions are happening this Saturday at The Barn in Farmington Hills. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and auditions kick off at 11:00 a.m. Actors should bring a short monologue (30–60 seconds) and be ready for possible cold readings. Whether you're a seasoned performer or taking your first steps on stage, there's a place for you.
This year’s festival features a dynamic lineup of eight one-act plays, ranging from heartfelt dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies. There’s something for everyone, from young performers in /ärt/ to mime antics in The Mime's Garden, from family drama in Underneath to futuristic satire in Revenge of the Supermodels.
Show dates are June 27–29, with rehearsals starting after casting. If you can’t audition in person, video submissions are also welcome.
All details (including character breakdowns, script links, and how to register) can be found online. Supporting the arts is part of what makes our community flourish. Break a leg to all those auditioning. We can’t wait to see you on stage!
