An Achievement for All

An Achievement for All

Junior Achievement USA believes that every child holds limitless potential. That’s why since 1919 this incredible organization has been “dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices.” Junior Achievement partners with classroom volunteers from all walks of life who participate in in-school and after-school programs for students in inner cities, suburbs and rural areas. Programs are geared toward preparing young people for the real world and sparking their entrepreneurial spirit.

This year marked Junior Achievement’s 100th anniversary. Celebrations were held all throughout 2019. Lauren Woirol’s husband, Stephen, recently served as a classroom volunteer, and Lauren and Stephen were both in attendance for the Junior Achievement Centennial Gala in downtown Philadelphia. The evening allowed Junior Achievement to highlight the success stories of former Junior Achievement participants, and also to present its Centennial Spirit Awards to local advocates and supporters who have been committed to the purpose of Junior Achievement.

At Wright Beamer, we know how important it is to nurture the potential of children, and we are proud when our team makes efforts to be involved with organizations like Junior Achievement.
