Artists Wanted

There’s still time for local artists to be part of something special in Farmington and Farmington Hills. Both cities are inviting submissions for two-year public art exhibits that bring creativity into city spaces, offering artists a chance to connect with the community and showcase their work to thousands of visitors.

In Farmington Hills, while the deadline for The Hawk exhibit has passed, artists can still apply to have their work featured at City Hall. Submissions are open through September 15, 2025, and all visual art media are welcome. If selected, pieces will be displayed from late 2025 through 2027 and may be listed for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to the artist. Applications can be completed online.

Nearby, the City of Farmington and the Farmington Area Arts Commission are accepting up to five original wall-hanging works for their downtown City Hall gallery space. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2025, with installation and an opening event planned for the fall. To apply, email your submission (including images and details of each piece) to ArtInFarmington@gmail.com.

Both programs are open to regional artists and offer a unique way to bring art into public life. At Wright Beamer, we love seeing our community celebrate creativity. And we’re excited to see what this next round of exhibits will bring to life!
