Little by little, businesses across Michigan are opening their doors again. As we all look toward getting “back to business,” many questions remain as to what that looks like. Businesses large and small continue to wade through the federal legislation, state executive orders, local regulations, and CDC recommendations in an effort to determine what is required of them.

The attorneys at Wright Beamer are hard at work helping to navigate a new normal. To that effort, Dirk Beamer recently participated in a panel for the Southeast Michigan Air Conditioning Contractors Association. The online discussion centered on the issues that matter most to the industry, many of which mirror the issues confronting all businesses right now. The panel of experts covered a range of topics, including guidance with PPP loans and developing best practices for workers as they return. Dirk was on hand to talk about creating a COVID-19 preparedness and response plan and compliance with Michigan Executive Order 2020-114.
