For the Love of Film

The Greater Farmington Film Festival held its first screening in 2014 with an idea to bring "good films for a better world" to our community. Each year, the volunteer-only group meets weekly to bring us films that aren’t widely known, but that offer strong messages of unity and the power of all of us.

Beginning next weekend, the festival returns. From Thursday to Sunday, the local nonprofit, kickstART, will present a range of films and documentaries at the Riviera Cinema, Farmington Community Library, and the Zekelman Holocaust Center. This year’s lineup covers several contemporary issues meant to “challenge and inspire us to be better neighbors and build a stronger community,” according to the event’s website.

At Wright Beamer, we understand the importance of supporting the arts. We are honored to again sponsor the Greater Farmington Film Festival showcasing some of the best that cinematography has to offer. Film lovers can find tickets and more information about the festival’s program online.
