Next week, the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce will again host the State of the Cities. Leaders in Farmington and Farmington Hills will come together to discuss “how 2020 has impacted our community and their plans for 2021.”
The annual event will take place online and is open to the public. Attendees will hear from Mayor Sara Bowman (City of Farmington), Mayor Vicki Barnett (City of Farmington Hills), and Dr. Bobbie Hayes Goodrum (Interim Superintendent of Farmington Public Schools). Connor Osborn (Executive Director of GFACC) and Stephen Grech (CEO of LOC Credit Union) will also speak.
After the presentations have wrapped up, attendees will be able to participate in a smaller “breakout room” for an informative Q&A with an individual speaker, which they will select during registration. Questions can also be submitted beforehand to be addressed within these smaller groups.
Wright Beamer has long been involved with the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, and we appreciate its efforts to bring updates to the community. More information about the State of the Cities can be found on the event page.
