In the Round

At the heart of Farmington Hills sits one of the area’s most notable buildings: The Barn. Once a working dairy farm, The Barn is now home to a state-of-the-art theater. And for over 65 years, the volunteers of the Farmington Players have been bringing to the stage some of the best comedies, dramas, and mysteries all in the name of entertainment.

Next month, the Farmington Players will wrap up the season with one final production. Deathtrap is a classic thriller complete with many twists and turns guaranteed to keep the audience enthralled until the very end. The show will run for a few weeks beginning May 6th. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Farmington Players website.

If you are not able to make it for a show, be sure to check out the Farmington Players Audio Theater. The podcast-like audio theater consists of “short radio plays featuring original scripts – many from local Michigan playwrights and [the theater's] Barnscribes writing team.” The audio productions began when the theater closed in response to the pandemic but have continued since then. Episodes are available through the theater’s website, on YouTube, and other streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

At Wright Beamer, we value the arts in our community. We hope you can make time for a show and support our neighbors. You might just be able to find us in the playbill!
