The Xemplar Club of Farmington & Farmington Hills might best be known for its participation in the Farmington Memorial Day Parade, but there is so much more to this organization. The Xemplar Club is made up of community leaders with an objective of assisting nonprofits that help local families, children, and senior citizens, especially those that are considered at-risk. Through the club’s various fundraising efforts, it has been able to support more than 20 such organizations in our area, donating about $30,000 a year.

Each year, events like the annual golf outing and euchre party help the Xemplar Club to raise funds for its efforts within the community. For another year, the organization has had to put any such gatherings on hold. In the meantime, the work continues.
