The Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families has been hard at work to make our community better since 1995. Despite the challenges of last year, FFHFYF has continued to provide funds twice a year to programs that improve the quality of life for children and families in need throughout Farmington and Farmington Hills. According to its website, grant recipients from this year’s spring cycle include CARES of Farmington Hills, the Farmington Family YMCA, KickstART Farmington, New Day Foundation for Families, and Camp Casey, to name a few.

The Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families typically hosts an annual gala dinner, which serves as its largest fundraising event. Like so many things, last year’s event was canceled, but FFHFYF is still working through its grant applications to help fund neighborhood programs. So, the organization has decided to pivot.

This year will feature the foundation’s first digital fundraiser, “Virtually Yours.” From September 23^rd through September 26^th, there will be many exciting items up for auction. More details will be available as the event gets closer, so keep an eye on FFHFYF’s website and Facebook page to stay up-to-date.
