Making Strides

On Sunday, May 4, the annual Farmington/Farmington Hills/West Bloomfield CROP Hunger Walk will bring the community together to raise funds and awareness in the fight against hunger.

This event supports both global and local efforts to provide food and relief. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will stay right here in our community, benefiting organizations like CARES of Farmington Hills and Neighborhood House, which Wright Beamer has proudly supported over the years. The remaining 75% goes toward global hunger relief programs.

The event begins at 12:30 PM at Farmington First United Methodist Church with a team photo, followed by the main with participants choosing either a 1.0 or 3.55-mile route. It’s a meaningful way to spend a Sunday, getting outside, connecting with neighbors, and supporting a cause that truly matters.

Community events like this one remind us how much can be done when people come together. To learn more or get involved, visit the Farmington/Farmington Hills/West Bloomfield CROP Hunger Walk event page.
