Showing That School Pride

Whether your colors run blue and maize or green and white, school spirit is a long-standing tradition that transcends generations, young and old. Last month, Julie Cotant and her family carried on the ritual as they cheered on the athletes of The Roeper School, where her two oldest attend the Lower School. The younger children and their families were invited to participate in a school spirit night complete with pizza, spirit posters and cheering on the girls' and boys' basketball teams.

So no matter if you're a Wolverine or a Spartan or starting out even earlier than that, school pride isn't just about family fun. It's important to show your support for the players in your community.
