Spreading the Good

Spreading the Good

Twice a year, our friends at the Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families bring a little bit of brightness to organizations supporting our community.

Each spring and fall, the FFHFYF reviews numerous applications for its grant programs. Funds are provided to local programs doing the hardest work supporting children and families in need throughout Farmington and Farmington Hills.

This morning, a celebratory breakfast was held to honor the spring grant recipients. Funds were awarded to Camp Casey, Farmington Youth Assistance, Farmington Farmers Market, Operation Common Good, Kickstart Gallery & Shop, Haitian Network Group of Detroit, and numerous other organizations.

Wright Beamer has been a proud sponsor of the Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families, and we were glad to be in attendance as these worthy groups received the grants they need to continue to do good work.

If you are able, consider ways you can support the Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families as it continues to make a better life for the children and families around us. If you know of a worthy local charity, encourage them to submit an application for the fall grant cycle. Nonprofits can also get more information about available funds and find out if they are eligible to receive a grant on the foundation’s website.
