This year marked the 150th Elkhart County Fair! One of the nation’s largest 4-H county fairs is tucked away in the small town of Goshen, Indiana, and hosts more than 200,000 visitors each summer. The nine-day event ran during the last week of July and featured hundreds of different commercial exhibits, concerts – and of course, fair food and rides!
According to its website, “the Elkhart County 4-H Fair prides itself on promoting agriculture, youth development, and family friendly entertainment in Elkhart County and the greater Michiana area.” Throughout the exciting week, Heather Brenneman Miles and her family go "all in" to support 4-H sponsored livestock competitions and showings! Having grown up on a dairy farm, which currently runs as a full-blown operation including custom harvesting and cattle raising, Heather and the whole Brenneman crew know 4-H, its fair, and the hard work well. Her nieces and nephews show steers, pigs, and rabbits, and participate with tractor driving and maintenance club.
A job well done to the entire Brenneman family for all the hard work they have put in this year and every year!
