Under the Wing

At Wright Beamer, we believe a strong community is rooted in kindness, compassion, and coming together to support those in need. This holiday season, our friends at On the Wings of Angels are embodying these values with an event dedicated to spreading hope and fostering healing.

Generous donations from across the community – everything from clothing and toys to toiletries and books – are being sorted and organized by OTWOA volunteers right now. This Saturday, starting at 10:00 am, the organization will turn a warehouse at 1270 Souter Boulevard in Troy into a welcoming, one-of-a-kind space where domestic violence survivors and their children will have the chance to “shop” for anything they need at no cost in a safe, dignified environment created just for them.

This event is about more than just providing essentials. It’s about providing community support and care to these women and children. If you want to lend a hand, volunteers are also needed to help with packing donations, organizing the space, and cleaning up after the event.
