Right now, the Farmington Area Arts Commission is accepting nominations for its 2025-2026 Art Awards, honoring those who have enriched our community through visual, performing, and literary arts.

These awards recognize a wide range of contributions, from individual artists and educators to organizations and businesses that support the arts. Whether it’s a musician who enhances local events, a teacher dedicated to arts education, or a company that invests in creative initiatives, this is an opportunity to acknowledge their impact.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognized, nominations are open until March 2, 2025. Visit the City of Farmington Hills website to submit your nomination.

The Farmington Area Art Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 4, at The Hawk Theatre, the performing arts space inside The Hawk. This year’s event will be especially meaningful as it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division and its lasting impact on our community. Free tickets will be available in August at TheHawkTheatre.com.
