The Great Lakes Women’s Business Council will be hosting its 17^th annual Great Lakes Women’s Business Conference at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi tomorrow and Wednesday, September 26-27. The event will bring together more than 1,000 certified women-owned businesses from all over the country and include individuals and organizations in a wide range of fields, from government suppliers to local professionals. Attendance at the event offers a unique opportunity for women in business to network and grow their companies through workshops, business showcase opportunities and networking events. Keynote speakers at the event include Scott Vowels, PhD, a leading expert in the field of supplier diversity, and Lynn Tilton, whose private investment firm, Patriarch Partners, LLC, has restructured more than 240 companies with combined revenues of over $100 billion.
